Remember, the whole point of MAME is to serve as an archive to keep the games and their technology alive. It's not there to serve as a way for you to play games for free. Before you start complaining, step back and take a look at your place. If you don't like the extra game support in MAME, remove it and compile your own version with only the games you desire. Don't complain to the wind about additional functionality that other people (read: most of the rest of us) like.

Well, what is being said is that ok sure they are emulating these games for us, but plenty of good ole games that are emulated need more work. they should probably focus on those before starting to emulate more. I know i can remove games i dont want..fine. but why are they wasting time on them to begin with while in the meantime some games that have been around for countless betas don't even work right yet?
