There are doc links on this site to tell you how to make your own spinner but basically you do this.
Pull the mouse apart...you'll see 2 spoked wheels that pass through optical sensors. You need to make your spinner so that when you spin the spinner, the spoked wheels are turning. Either directly connect it to the spinner shaft, or using gears. Then mount the mouse guts in a way so that the wheel is aligned with the sensor as it was when you opened the mouse. Then, plug in the mouse and thats it!
