no that wouldn't work. The interfacing is totally different. In order to do what you want, you'd need to make a dreamcast pad hack like mine, then also wire up a keyboard encoder. In multi-system compatibilty you can't use the keyboard hack because a keyboard hack works totally different from a pad hack, because on a pad there is a hot and a ground to each button, and you short it by pushing the button. In the keyboard you wire two hots instead.
What would work best for you is to connect all of your dreamcast hots and one ground into a 37-pin connector, and do the same thing for your encoder, then get a switch box. Email me if you have other questions.
: the controllser im making will work on the pc for sure. i am trying to make it work for dreamcast also. i bought this adaptor that connects a pc keyboard to the dreamcast. i have tryed it with the keyboard im using and it works great with games that support dreamcast keyboards. heres my question, is there any way i can get it to work with games that dont support keyboards
