and would be happy to test a few things... It's performance in 3d games is good, although I like my Voodoo 3 better, but I think that's only because the games I run have better support for the Voodoo... The graphics and frame rate are still excellent in the ATI.

Anything you want me to test let me know (I'm not yet set up to be able to test an actual arcade monitor)...

: and I've basically came up with the fastest cards you can use on an standard arcade monitor (which is what advance mame is intended for). The research I've done is extensive reviews and benchmarks posted throughout the internet. My reasons are the same as yours. I use only one computer for both computing/gaming and my arcade cab so I need something capable of playing the latest 3d games and that will work on an arcade monitor.

: The best card you can get is:

: ATI Rage Fury Maxx - This card is 64 MB and performs pretty well in benchmarks.

: The only drawback is it is only a plain card and does not possess any TV/out SVIDEO or anything like that. So, more broadly the FASTEST CHIPSET is the ATI RAGE FURY PRO which is what the Maxx uses. So, two other very good cards to go with would be:

: ATI RAGE FURY PRO
: ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 128 PRO
