In case you miss this reply below... It's in regards to Sinistar etc. and what I said about the controls working correctly in Advance MAME:

I didn't tell you exactly how before. :)

Go to analog and turn x and y centering ON. There ya go, you can now throw away that crappy Williams Classics CD. ;) The same will work in Escape from Planet of Robot Monsters, Food Fight etc. etc.

This works because those games used some form of analog joystick. Digital controls (on or off) cannot properly communicate variations in stick movement, so software help is needed to tell the game the analog stick is now centered - so that's why the center option is there. :)

You give up too easy Mr. Mole! I'm 34, I know what Sinistar is supposed to be like too, and I also have that Williams Arcade CD - that thing amazed the heck outta me back in my 486 days. :P

Now go turn centering on and kick some Sinistar butt!
