Not to start an argument, but if you have ever tried to support software before you realize how annoying something like this is. Flat out bug fixing is not as much fun as writing new code. I worked on a freeware game and quit mainly because of all the demands and complaints it wasn't worth it. I've seen lots of emu devs quit for similar reasons. Report the bugs once and hope they get fixed I think is the best policy. Or even better whip out the trusty debugger and send them a patch it is all open source :)
: Screw all those damn majohnger/trivia/crap in Japanese games. I liked MAME like 5 or 6 betas ago, now they keep adding more crap and it is overwheleming. too many damn games to look through. They should make a completely different emulator just for those dumb trivia/majohnger games and remove them from MAME altogether. Who likes weeding through over 2000 games all the time. BAH! I think they should slow down and fix all the old stuff that doesnt work right. Come on.
