Tony,

Those WG models you mentioned are really easy to setup and are great alternatives to 'pure' arcade monitors (which are generally low-res/mid-res only) considering their ease with which they interface with a PC! If you're going to go this direction, I would go for the gold and get the WG D9200... it handles both VGA (hi-res up to 640x480) and CGA/EGA (mid & low-res) modes with a simple switch of a cable. At 27" this monitor is tough to beat and can be used not only for a PC setup but also for traditional arcade boards... The monitor is not on the WG website, but if you have any questions, drop me a line... I do have a specs sheet I can e-mail you...

All the best,
Mark

: Question on so-called VGA arcade monitors (like the Happs or WG U3000 or U3100). Are these as simple as I think to hook up? Do they come with all the necessary cables? Do I just need to plug the VGA cable into my video card and the power cord into the wall and I'm done?

: Thanks,
: Tony
