: : Off topic...

: : On my arcade monitor I have to change the default vector intensity from 1.50 to 2.50 or so for the vector games to look good. I currently do this by accessing the menu where volume, brightness, etc is displayed. I'm referring to the menu brought up by pressing the ~ character.

: : I can't seem to figure out how to save the info to the mame.cfg file. I've tried vector_intensity and intensity but neither seems to work. I see no mention of it in the mame readme.

: This may be a dumb question but have you tried opening the mame.cfg file with notepad and changing it and then saving the file?

Not a dumb question. Yes I have opened mame.cfg and I can't find any setting referring to vector intensity so there's nothing to change. I have tried adding:

vector_intensity = 2.50 and
intensity = 2.50

but both are ignored. The problem is I don't know the correct parameter to change.
