I am working on one. I was initially planning for a full-blown push/pull spinner since that would be the most versatile spinner (if the available spinner types are: geared ones like Arkanoid, free spinning ones like Tempest, push ones like Forgotten Worlds and push/pull ones like Disks of Tron).

The prototype is finished and working but only like a push spinner. It would be quite easy to modify it to be a push/pull but it would add to the complexity. I haven’t decided yet if it is worth the extra effort to add pull features just for one game (even if it is Disks of Tron).

The work is stalled right now since I got the raw material for my new modular control panel from the black smith this morning. I also have to buy some raw material in brass to make two final spinners for my cabinet. The only problem is that only one company in Stockholm (where I live) offers the right dimensions and they require a minimum order of 10 meters, and I only need 6cm!

I also have to make some optical PCBs before I can connect the spinners to my Opti-PAC (I know that I can buy ready made Trackball PCBs but I figure that it would be easier to build some my self, I don’t know)...

: Does anyone know the controllers for Discs of Tron? I read on www.klov.com that the spinner also has an up and down for moving the shoot line up and down. Has anyone figured out how to make a controller like this?

: thanks
