Nobody is whining here, Mame is a great program. In fact it's by far the best freeware program there is. Period. However, this does not mean that it is perfect or free from constructive criticism. We are only SUGGESTING a few things, NOT demanding.
Since the MAME team has stated that it's goal is to preserve classic arcade games by creating a program to replicate them, it would seem to me that they would be better off focusing more on bugs, errors, etc. rather than making Mame have the ability to play as many games as possible. I think its great, but I think it would be great for the MAME team to spend one entire beta cycle fixing bugs and the such. It would clean the program up a bit and make it even that much better. It's kinda like how after downloading and installing program after program on your computer you stop and defrag or uninstall stuff off your pc, just to clean it up a bit, although its running fine. Like I said, no complaints here, I love the program and they are free to do whatever they want with it. That is just my suggestion.
