Ok, just got a pc2jamma machine I bought off someone running the latest ArcadeOS.. MAME works great, some games don't seem to work as the vertical hold goes nuts, but that's not what this post is about.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to map the keys correctly in nesticle and genecyst. I try to map 1p start and 2p start to 1 and 2, which is how it is wired, but I get that little 1-10 box at the bottom of nesticle every time. Can I disable that somehow? Also, it seems all the NES games are running -horribly- slow, this is on a p3 500 with 128 mb of ram. It seemed to be running fine when I first got it, but I must have mucked with a setting when I was trying to get the configuration right, and since I'm new at this, am not sure what that is.

I'm having the same problem in Genecyst too. And I've tried a few things, getting scancode.exe, getting the scancodes of what's wired to what, and putting those in the respective ini files, but some of the nesticle built in stuff still seems to occur as I listed above. Any help would be much appreciated, I spent much of tonight searching the net and didn't turn up a lot of help. The speed problem is one of my main concerns now, as I have NESticle "close enough" to working.

One burning question though, how do I wire ALT-Q? I have alt and q wired, and pressing them both together will indeed get me out of the game, but I haven't seemed to wire them both to one button (yes, I followed the example in nesticle.app .. wired a button with scancode 44 (z) to the alt-q combination, but nothing happens. Because ALT and q are being used somewhere else?
