Hi,
I forgot to include the psx options into ArcadeOS,
so - it sees 'psxlpt1' as the joystick, decides it's not a valid value and resets
your joystick to a default of 'none'
You can add new config options into ArcadeOS fairly easily,
open up MAME.DAT and find the line
@textval,gamepadpro,sneslpt1,sneslpt2,sneslpt3
add the psx pad options onto the end of this -
@textval,gamepadpro,sneslpt1,sneslpt2,sneslpt3,psxlpt1,psxlpt2,psxlpt3
Then change the joystick option so that it knows
about the 3 extra possible values
joystick,1,65,78,65,@
to
joystick,1,65,81,65,@
you should now be able to either set your psx as the joystick
type from within ArcadeOS, or just set it MAME.CFG and ArcadeOS wouldn't reset it to 'none'
