It's a PCI card, so I do not set any of that stuff. You only have to set that stuff with ISA boards. I double checked the card configuration under msclient and I couldn't even find a place to set IRQs or IO ports. I believe the BIOS sets up all IO and IRQ stuff for PCI boards at boot time.

The D-Link board that I have can still be bought new. It costs $20 and it was cake to install. I would suggest ditching any older ISA board you may have and upgrade. Plus you get 100 MBit.
