After recently purchasing a projection TV, I decided to put my MAME cabinet into semi-retirement. I use the S-Video out on my ATI Rage Fury Pro like many people who are using a TV in their MAME cabinet. The image is a bit fuzzy, but acceptable.
I woke up this morning wondering if there was a way to use the component video inputs of my TV rather than the S-Video. This would require a method of converting VGA to component video, so I searched the Internet for "VGA to Component Video". Audio Authority sells just such a thing for HDTVs (http://www.audioauthority.com/vgacom.html). Unfortunately, my set is not an HDTV and I am still looking for a solution.
