OK, I am stepping up to the next level here. I have been using nice Cambridge Soundworks speakers & sub.
I found a great guy local to me that is getting out of the business of building speaker enclosures etc.
At this point price is just a ballpark figure...but it looks like the system will be in the range of $175 and will include 2 6" coax speakers ( 2-way ) and either a 10" or 12" sub ( all very high quality) and an amp with crossover. Plus the needed mounting hardware...grilles, mounts, etc.
He hooked a test system up and it ROCKED! Awesome sound and very LOUD.
I should have a better idea of the cost in a week.
