Now...
Get two cheap playstation controllers and pop them open til all you have is the circuit boards (pcb). Now from every microswitch on your cp wire directly to the pcb and solder onto the button that corresponds. All buttons on the pcb are divided in two. One half is the ground - all of these trace back to the outside of the pcb or to a central location. Take a wire and daisy chain (solder) it to the Ground on every microswitch and then onto the part on the pcb that all the grounds on it are leading to. Now take a wire and solder it from the prong on the microswitch closest to the ground prong and onto the pcb that that button represents. After that you should be all done.
