All I had on my page (which was indeed on the examples page) for the first month was a txt file of what I was going to do. Now I have a txt file, a bmp and a jpg. Someone will learn something from this (I am sure of it because I was a newbie a year ago and went through the same things) so I submitted. It's amazing how little things can get people so fired up (kind of like when a jerk posts something here - so I guess I am as bad as he is
