Ok, I reread my post and it is not evident what I meant by Windows shares. I just wanted to clarify that I was talking about mounting network drives from DOS using SMB. I guess it was a little late when I wrote it. :)

And for some msclient tips.... Use the Basic Redirector instead of the Full Redirector as it uses less memory (unless you want to log into an NT domain). Also, the default protocol is IPX, so you've got to change it to TCP/IP. Once you select TCP, it defaults to using DHCP to find an address. Even though it lets you change the IP address, you need to change "disable automatic address" to "1" make it actually use a static address.
