I know the answer to this one!!! I needed to have different rom paths on my machine because as you might already know, if you use dos and arcadeos your C: drive can only be 2 gigs and a full set of roms is more than that. Blah Blah, you actually make a change to your mame.cfg file, my rom line looked something like

roms = .;roms

I changed it to say

roms = .;roms;d:\roms

ArcadeOS finds them all!!
