In Arcade@Home, you can tell MAME to look for "dual joysticks" - and that will allow a USB-connected joystick to be recognized in DOS-Mame. However, I was just trying that this morning with my PSX Dual Force pad (by Mad Catz), and I could only get two out of ALL SIXTEEN buttons recognized.

Screw that! I'll save up for either a Thunderbird (to run Mame32) or a HotRod SE (to run DOS-Mame)...
