I have two 25" monitors (one is vert and one is horz) and there is a big difference between the brightness in them. I also notice that the one that is not as bright has some (from time to time, especially when displaying black screens) thin green "jail bars". I believe all of this means I need to install a cap kit (or maybe a "video brightener" - happs part numer 49-0815-00). I am not sure I want to do this (dangerous, could ruin my monitor, etc). Do you guys think I need to?
