: I have just brought a Jamma Cab with a 20" Monitor. I have connected the monitor to a PC-TV converter using the following wires from the scart lead 7 - Blue, 11 - Green, 15 - Red, 17 - Ground, 20 - Composite sync. (I got this info from Powerjaw posted on this message board)

: Using Mames -monitor arcade option I just get a small scrambled rolling picture in the top left corner, however I put this down to the converter as I get the same image when using Mames -monitor pal option on a pal TV.

: Using the converter with the arcade monitor and using mames default -monitor settings, (PC monitor) the picture looks great, but I can't stop the screen from rolling. (horizontally vertically and diagonally) After fiddling with various buttons for well over 3hours I have had the screen quite close, but I just can't seem to get it that last bit. The buttons I have been fiddling with are H Phase, V Shift, H Freq, V amp H Amp and V Freq.
: Is this correct? Is their anything else I can try.

: any information would be appreciated

: Thanks Mike

You shouldn't need to choose the -monitor option in MAME at all, in fact, it will cause it NOT to work with the monitor switch. Does it work with plain DOS?

Tim
