My idea is this...

If you want to complete, ultimate sit-down cockpit racing cab here is how I'd do it. Buy a shelled out one or simply build one from scratch. I think buying a shelled out one and fixin it up would be much more authentic and spare a lot of hassle. Anyway, I'd put a big svga monitor in it (at least 25") or get one of the ones from Happ's that takes vga inputs and wire up a pc to it. Get a Dreamcast and buy the vga box (converts signal to play games on pc monitor). Get Bleemcast when it comes out so that you can play psx games on the Dreamcast, and therefore the vga monitor. Buy the ACT LABS Force Feedback system with the shifter. I've heard this is the best. Hook this thing into the cab. Also, you could easily have a way to wire in a nice force-feedback flight stick and make the steering wheel detachable or concealable so you could play all the sweet ass pc flying games. Imagine:

Dreamcast: Crazy Taxi, Sega GT, SF Rush 2049
PSX: R4, GT 1 and 2, Wipeout XL and 3,
PC: Dozens of good racing titles
