Okay, I'm just posting this because I want everyone to see how I got my SBLive card working with an arcade monitor, but I don't think this will be useful to anyone else, although it may.

I have one computer and I have my 19" computer monitor on my desk and my arcade cab/monitor next to it. This is my normal pc so I use it for everything, and it has Windows 98 installed. Normally when I wanted to play games on my cab with my sb16 I just exited to DOS, typed in the arcadeos directory and loaded it through dos, turned my vga monitor off and when I hear the beeps i swapped cables, hooking up my arcade monitor and turning my arcade cab on. If you currently use this method this solution make work for you.

I have a SBLive card and currently this is not supported in pure dos (at least that i know of) BUT it does work in a dos prompt. SO.... I load up Windows 98 and load arcadeos through the DOS prompt instead of the regular boot. However... If you were to hit ESC while in ArcadeOS menu then it would exit back out into DOS (prompt) possibly damaging your monitor. Here's where ARCMON.sys comes into play. This program (andy geez i believe) changes your dos frequency to that of an arcade monitor. My solution is to put this into your config.sys file, load windows 98 on your normal monitor, go into dos prompt, switch to arcade monitor (its now safe), and type in the directory for Mame or ArcadeOS or any other DOS program for that matter. If you accidentally exit out into dos you are still safe due to arcmon. It's still possible to exit out into windows (ie: ctrl, alt, del) but much less likely. Hope this helps someone.
