I use windows95 and when installed the Ensoniq-PCI from there, it works both in a DOS window within win95 and when I boot directly into DOS 7 (for this you have to modify your Win95 config so that it does not go into graphical mode, i.e. set "GUI = 0", when booting). However, I had the same problems everyone else had when trying to install it in native DOS 6.XX. So what I plan on doing is creating a dos boot disk from the dos contained in Win95 and setting autoexec and config the same. Once I get home I'll post my config if that last one works.
