: Hey Everyone ,
: Well All the pieces for my cabinet are cut ou and ready to be put together.
: But just now ive had a small change of heart.
: Ive decided to make it a 4 player cabinet, just much more social and the prospect of 4 player TMNT and WWF Wrestlefest is just too much :)
: But Anyway I have a few questions before I do commit myself to 4p.
: 1. What are some other 4 player games ? Many other goodies ???
: 2. I was thinking of using an I-PAC , What would be the optimum number of buttons and everything I could/should use ? ( because by my count im going to need more than 27 inputs ? )
: 3. How many buttons per player should I have ?
: 4. Will I need 4 coin insert buttons ??
I haven't found any problem with setting one button to be coin1 and start1, one button as coin2/start2, etc.
I also found that if you put 2 joystick sets on your control panel and then make it so you can conect 2 sidewinders (the actual gamepads) to your cabinet for 2 (up to 4) more players, then more than 2 players can play that way. My cabinet has 2 sets of controls and a port on the front so I can daisy chain 2 more sidewinders. 2 more poeple can stand at the cabinet and play with gamepads in their hand.
