tips for increments the speed (fps)

hi dudes,the another day i found how i can run much faster the mame games:

first run the game(ex:mk1)
2- when do you play , press pause("p" button)
3- then press the f11 to see the fps screen
4- put the fps in ¨0¨ or auto (try it)with f8(up)
f9(down)see the mame help txt guide
5- and then press and hold f10(first) and press f11
(second)and you will see the fps screen incremeance since 53fps to 115 fps(in a some games course)its no work try with the f12 and f10
i think so you need a p3 with 600 mhz to work be fine
( in a slow computers(p100 or another this trick not work)
i don´t know what happen, but is a great trick
