howdy

I'm building a MAME cabinet. I'm going to build a black box for interfacing the control panel to the
computer, so everything can be modular. I want to plan
the black box well so i don't have to modify it when
I add new control panels later on. Here's what I have
so far. I want good flexibility, so what am I missing?

black box contains:
64-input keyboard encoder
2 serial passthroughs for trackballs/spinners
Player 1 port (4 joy directions, 6 buttons, pause)
Player 2 port (same as player 1)
Player 3 port (4 joy directions, 3 buttons, pause)
Player 4 port (same as player 3)
Mame control port (esc, enter, ~, f3, f5, etc)
Coin/Start port (1-4 player start, 1-4 coin drop)

the coin/start panel will go on the front of the cabinet, the mame control panel on the side, and the
control panel will have only player controls and pause.

Am I missing anything?
