Thanks for the advice. I'm really only doin preliminary specs and plans right now. While my wife is buying me the Hotrod SE for our anniversary, she says we don't have room enough in our apartment for this little setup of mine. (we do, but she doesn't want it in the living room)

I'm really going to have to wait a couple years till we start thinking about a house or maybe I can blugeon her enough so she'll let me do it in our apartment.

So by the time I do this I should be able to get the TBird 800 at bargin basement prices. ;)

: The more RAM the better for Neo-geo games, with 256mb they run fine on my celeron 400.

: I agree with pink in that the newer midway games need the most power to run properly, the duron 800s are a hell of a lot of chip for a tiny amount of money but I would go for a tbird just to be on the safe side. If you look around you should be able to get them for twenty bucks more than the duron.

: I am not sure how they perform in mame but all the benchmarks seem to point to the fact that the tbird far superior to a pIII and costs a lot less.
