How did you make grooves for t-molding?

I need to groove the sides of my cab for T-molding. I don't have a table saw, and I have the machine assembled already. I saw some sited that talk about a router bit but I can't find it anywhere. I need to groove for 5/8 molding. I thought about a piece of angle iron as a jig and either my dremel tool or mt back saw. Any better ideas or methods?
