My arcade monitor has been one of the more *challenging* parts of the whole cab experience. I've had to adjust every H and V setting for every resolution to get them to work, one by one. I've 'tuned in' enough of them for most games to work (except for verts, which I had once and lost).

Here's my problem: In Advancemame, you need to specify the monitor H and V frequencies before you can run the 'mv' utility. After much farting around to get the horizontal resolution in a viewable range (15.38hz, anyone?), I have an unstoppable vertical roll problem (out of range of the physical monitor v hold adjustment).

The default range for arcade monitors is 50-60khz, I believe. Does anyone have a suggestion for how I should adjust this range to stop the problem?

thanks to anyone that can help.
