I think using composite connections is very playable for low res games. Using my laptop's composite tv-out, I thought even Neo-Geo games looked great - at least I liked it better than the blocky look I got on my laptop LCD screen.

: In my experience, using composite in's was un-playable. I tried it on a couple of TV's, and it was always the same. Color bleed, blurry, etc...
: I switched to the S-Video input, and it was MUCH better.
