Found this post on one of the newsgroups, and remembered
your problem. Let us know if this applies?

I've got it at last.....(hope it works for everyone).
Callus only works on SBLive when it has the IRQ set
to 5, but just setting the blaster environment won't do.
Okay, in Win'98/95 click start button, then click run....
Type 'sysedit' in the box and press enter.
Go to the menu option called window and click AUTOEXEC.BAT
type the following exactly....SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 T6
Now save changes and exit. Click Right mouse button on My
Computer icon and select properties. Select Device Manager,
and click on the little '+' symbol next to 'Creative Miscellaneous
Devices'. Now right mouse button click on 'Creative SB16
Emulation' and select properties. Click on the resources tab,
and remove the 'x' where it says 'Use automatic settings'
Move the scroll bar down until you can see the settings
'Interrupt Request' and enter the value 5. You'll have to sort
out any resource conflicts yourself. Now, just click OK for
this window.....and OK for System Properties window. Reboot your
computer and (hopefully) Dos box Callus should now have glorious
stereo sound. Street Fighter Alpha sounds great btw on a good hi
fi system (like mine ): ). Goodluck!

: Problem is that using ArcadeOS w/ Callus on my arcade
: monitor, I get no sound at all. Same happens if I use
: Dos Callus on my pc using a pc monitor, but w/ Win95
: Callus version, sound is great.I checked both versions
: Configuration Settings file, and they both (Win95, and Dos)
: are identical as far as sound settings go. I must
: be missing something.Any help on this?Thanks
