If you find a vendor that sells refurb monitors take a minute and ask if they have any with bad cases.
I went to a vendor to pick up several nice 17" monitors for $65 each. While I was there I looked at and bought 2 nice 19" monitors for $165 each. I then asked if they had any monitors with bad cases. They sold me 3 19" monitors with perfect pictures...but cracked cases for $70 each. These were the same model as the ones I paid $165 for. Maybe I got the good deal because I bought a total of 8 monitors...
Who cares if the case is cracked if the monitor is going into an arcade cabinet?
