Punisher was also CPS1 BUT used Qsound. So if you managed to run the game, you wouldn't have sound. Non-Qsound games would be a different story though.

: My basic understanding regarding CPS1 is that this should be possible. The best person I can think of to ask is Naz. His mail used to be nazrac123@hotmail.com, though I doubt he uses hotmail anymore.

: Anyway, I'm no expert, so hopefully someone familiar with ROM burning/dumping can answer you.

: Good luck. And why not consider converting the cabinet to a MAME cabinet? That way you'd have CPS1 games and lots more. =)

: : Hello everyone! Ok, here is what I'm trying to do... I have a Final Fight Arcade machine (without manual)
: : and I'm trying to put a new game into it with little to no cost. I was wondering if it was possible to take the
: : current ROM chips out of the motherboard, rewrite them using ROM info found on the Net, say Punisher,
: : and plug them back into my motherboard. If you have any info on this, or can direct me to a site for info,
: : I'd feel all tingly inside and be forever grateful. I love Final Fight and all, but after 1,000,000 plays, I could
: : sure use something else. Thanks in advance!!!!!
