I would definitly be interested in buying several different tapes on a variety of these related subjects.(Specifically keyboard hacks). :-)

My original idea was for many videos covering everything from a full cabinet project to a simple(and specific) PCB hack. There are so many possible hack variations that if everyone got to work on making videotapes on various projects, then they would have to be indexed. Someone would have to manage the list of projects so the same thing wouldn't be redone.(ie: Two videotapes on the exact same way to build a control panel).

The basic principles would be the same. To show a picture of each component of the involved project before hand, and then document every step of the project along the way.(Soldering, cutting, drilling, mounting, ect.).

Visual close-ups of every activity along the way are also very important. Audio(words) wouldn't even be necessary if whoever edits the tapes can narrate from the builders written words, or just have the words written across the screen.(ie; Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, ect,). I'm sure some freeze frames will be necessary.

: In reference to a post that seems to have gotten lost a few screens south, is anyone interested in buying a video tape of how to wire up controls for a cabinet? I am, because wiring is where my project will go haywire (pun intended) I just know it.

: And since I produce videos (I can spiff up the tape with animation, titles, etc.), I would love to tackle that aspect of it. So, my questions are:

: Is anyone interested in buying a finished tape? Maybe $5 - $10? Just enough to cover the costs?

: What would you like to see included on the tape? Just control wiring (sticks, buttons, trackball, spinner, etc.), or woodwork, computer setup, etc. also?

: And lastly, is there anyone in the Orlando area with the experience of putting one of these babies together who could advise or be on camera to show how things are done properly?

: TIA!
