I´ve asked myself just these questions and came to this conclusion: I bought a used Chase HQ control panel with potentiometer steering wheel and a up/down shifter. I then bought a gas/brake pedal combo from Happ Europe with pots. I connected it all through an old pc steering wheel I never used anyway. I then made some wood side panels that I stuck to the controlpanel so it could be connected to my Jamma cab. My pc recognizes the whole thing as a two-axis four button analog joystick and can easyly be calibrated in both dos mame and RAINE. Works great, but a lot of work...

: Hello all.
: Should I go with pot pedals, or switch?
: The one I thought I'd use is:

: Also the steering wheel I thought I'd use is:

: Are these good choices?
: I have no clue what is the best all around choice for a stick shift. What have you folks found that is good?
: Should I get just a high/low or should I get a four way?
: If I go with a high/low, what type?
: TOO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

: Sorry, I want to get going and realized how far behind I am.
: Thanks to everyone,
: Surge
