Is there a front end that lets you divide games into categories that you get to make?

Hi all,

I would like to know if there is a front-end, preferably for multiple emulators, that lets you make up your own categories and sort games that way. For example, instead of having all games listed under one really long list you could have categories or folders for different genres like "sports", "fighting", etc, or even make categories for spinner games, trackball games, rotary joystick games, and so forth.
