I reference the archives all the time. I cannot tell you the wealth of information I have found there. It also keeps newbies from posting the same old questions over and over again... Well sometimes :7)
Another solution would be to compile a comprehensive faq of the most common questions.
: UBBS looks very good. However, there's one important feature it appears to lack. There's no mechanism for taking old messages and archiving them as "back issues" so to speak. This would mean once the messages were purged, they'd be gone forever.
