: I am rapidly finishing up the exterior of my arcade cabinet and I wanted to pass along some great results. I don't know when I'll get html up, but this may help someone else:

: Cabinet exterior: I used a black granite stone finish ("Fleck Stone" or "Make It Stone" are a couple of brands out there.) At $60 it was expensive to do. (Nearly as much as the cabinet itself). But the cabinet looks so "solid" and durable.

: T-Molding: I spent the extra .05 per foot for the black leather type. It really complements the granite. It's a sharp, yet "rough and tumble" look at the same time.

: Speakers: My cabinet had the mono speaker mounted on a plain piece of particle board over the monitor. It had been painted black, with a cheap metal speaker grill over the hole. I bought black speaker cloth from Radio Shack (black is $10, gray is $6). Covering the entire board with the cloth makes it looks like a brand new stereo. Supplies needed: 10 minutes and a household stapler.

: Happy gaming.

: Joe
