The casing is pretty big, I probably should've gotten the 2 1/4 one. About 1/4 of the ball sticks up above the panel and it does not come with a cover plate. I need to measure but I think the Happs coverplate will fit. I'll try to score a digital camera tonight and post some pics.

: 3" seems kind of huge to me. How much of the ball actually sticks out above the panel? Does it come with a cover plate?

: : I got a 3" trackball from them about a week ago...I like it. It's plug and play with MS drivers. I've never used a Happs ball so I'm not really sure how it compares.

: : Comparing it to an arcade trackball (isn't this the point of all this madness?)like Missle Command and Centipede it seems to spin as nicely as they do.
