Sorry I haven't gotten back to you.. I haven't had a chance to mess around with my machine with the holidays and all. I'm pretty sure it will work with the serial. It uses generic MS drivers and if you configure it to be a serial mouse I'm sure it will work. I'll try to get some time tonight to mess with this..
