I had an old broken CPU fan that was powered off the hard drive voltage wires. I cut the fan section off and ran the wires to the lamps.
This is 12 Volt current and works great to power these kind of lights.
I replaced the lamp holders with
Radio Shack Bayonet bases
and used #53 Lamps (14.4v .12 amps). I soldered all leads.
This method works great.
: I have 12v lamps on my coin door and trackball. There's 2 prong thingeys at the back of the lamp holders to wire-up. Obviously one prong takes 12v current. What do I wire the other one up to? Thanks!!
