Correct, diagonals are actually 2 switches. As for a "fix" to the limitations of a keyboard hack, I really would just skip it and buy a good encoder. They aren't that expensive, you get much more functionality & you can still have a keyboard via pass-thru. Get an IPac or Hagstrom and you can avoid all these problems. That's my opinion.

: and the same controls for player 2 pressed all at the same time that will take up 8 functons right? what if my keyboard will only input 6 functons at once? is there a way to fix this so i can press all the buttons at once. also, if the joystick is ay a diagnal, will it take up 2 functons(left,up) or one(diagnal) thanks for the help.
