I wanted to give a big thumbs up to Druin's rotary joystick interface board for MAME! I received the interface last weekend and so far I am extremely happy with the product.

This interface is a "must have" if you want to faithfully play the rotary stick games in MAME. Thanks to Druin for a great product that has helped add a vital piece of the arcade experience to my MAME cabinet!

I have posted a few tips and a brief review based on my experience with the interface on Druin's message board at http://members.home.net/druins22/ls30/. I also posted a list of compatible games I have tried along with some suggested analog control settings.

Also, right now I am using Happs sticks but am considering putting together an "original" style control panel using SNK LS-30 sticks. Can anyone offer a comparison between the two? Also, I was wondering if the LS-30 will work with a wood control panel - they look like they are made for metal control panels.
