Another thing to consider: how many buttons do you need to use during the game that needs 4 joysticks? You could probably wire some of the buttons in paralell with the 3rd and 4th joysticks. Their functions would overlap but if they are never used at the same time that would be OK

: IPAC rocks!!!

: Yes you could daisy-chain IPAC's together - but there is no need. what I did was to make 4 seperate control panels that are hot-swappable w/ usb ipac - just wired ipac to a female connector and control panels to male connectors. (use optipac for spinner, trac ball, and steering)
: 1. two 8-way w/ 6 buttons ea
: 2. one 4-way and one trac ball w/ 4 buttons
: 3. Steering wheel, 4 speed shifter 4 buttons
: 4. trigger joystick, spinner, 4 buttons

: these four setups give true arcade feel to just about every game without cluttering up a single control panel (except marble madness - I may make a two trac ball panel next.
