I got this one from a guy on E-Bay. Not in an auction but through an independent sale.

I was originally going to build a cabinet from scratch and use a 19" VGA monitor. The monitor alone was $299. Then I was going to have to build a cabinet. I got the whole cabinet including shipping (from CA to NY) for about $550.

It has a 29" monitor and it was already JAMMA so it was easy to convert. Since the monitor is so big, you can run vertical games at close to their original size. The monitor is rotatable but I leave it horizontal.

There is room underneath to store the computer inside. I'm using the Blade3d card and it works great. I'm also using the I-PAC as my encoder.

The control panel has a metal plate with the joysticks / buttons in it. I replaced it with a lexon one that I made myself. I have two Ikari rotating joysticks, 6 buttons for each player, a trackball (with 2 mouse buttons) and a spinner installed. I added a button on each side to play the pinball games. The coin slot works (quarters or tokens). The control panel also includes drink holders....a big plus.

I'm running MAME, Genecyst, DOS Games - Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, Brain Dead 13, Doom, Tomb Raider, Redneck Rampage, SIERRA Games (Leisure Suit Larry, etc.), and a DOS MP3 Player. I can also run Win98 on this setup. I expect to add a USB ethernet connection for Windows and connect it to a local "network" in my house once I get my cable or DSL line installed.

It's not really a "classic" type cabinet but it works well for me.

The only problems I've had are 1) the control panel areas is pretty tight so plan well, 2) the speakers are wired up in mono and not stereo. Other than that I can't really complain about the cabinet.
