Charlie, I'm assuming that you're following up on your last question regarding how to wire up two buttons on the same row? Please check out my first response at http://www.arcadecontrols.com/wwwboard/messages/14352.html to see the diagram that I drew up there first. That diagram ties into the picture here.

As far as the actual "splitting" of the wires goes, I took this quick picture to illustrate it. Imagine that the red wire on the left is coming from your PCB, and that the two black wires on the right are going to your buttons. That's pretty much all there is to it. Each of the wires is stripped back a little bit, and then screwed into the terminals.

How it works is that the two sides on a terminal block are *connected*. In the example of the picture, you can see the red wire is screwed into the sixth terminal up from the bottom on the LEFT, right?. Well, the sixth terminal up on the RIGHT is connected to the sixth terminal up on the left. What this means is that all three wires in the picture (the red one on the left and the two black ones on the right) are now all connected to each other. This is pretty much the whole principle behind using a terminal block.

Hope this helps!
