Is there anyone out there that could provide detailed cabinet dimensions for an original mortal kombat or mkII cabinet?
Although not a classic, it's the cabinet my friends and I put the most money into, and I feel obliged to try and pay respect to it as much as possible in my mame cabinet design.
There are reasons I am not buying a mk cabinet and doing a conversion, the main one being my need for some serious customization concerning the monitor (I have a 29inch mitsubishi presentation monitor that was used for trade shows that is no longer being used as the outside has been destroyed from multiple shipping accidents, and it is a perfect candidate for my mame project)
Anyway, the monitor accepts multiple vga resolutions as well as svideo and composite ntsc signals opening up tons of possibilities for a multiple use cabinet (mame, modern pc games, dreamcast, etc).
The monitor plus my desire for multiple custom control panels makes me want to build the cabinet from scratch .. but like I said I'd like to be able to make it as close as possible to an original mk cabinet. Any help would be appreciated.
