Hi Bagman,
We looked at switching from Happ to Imperial for out sticks and buttons, mainly due to the poor exchange rate of the Aussie $.
After looking at samples from Imperial, quality won out and we stuck with Happs. We found the Imperial buttons very stiffly sprung, and the joysticks just didn't quite look or feel as good as the Happ equivalents.
As an alternative, check out Bob Roberts at http://personal.msy.bellsouth.net/~bob147 - he sells Happ stuff cheaper than they do(!!) and I've found him pretty good to deal with.
Not sure about the trackballs as we are yet to purchase any, but the PS2 models from Imperial look tempting.....
